Child Abuse & Healthy Parenting
Family Service of the Piedmont offers a range of services to assist children and families experiencing or at risk for child abuse or neglect, as well as educational programs to foster healthy parenting skills.
We support and educate parents to foster healthy environments for children. This is an important aspect of child abuse prevention.
We operate two accredited Children’s Advocacy Centers, helping children who have been sexually or physically abused or witnessed violence to tell their story and begin the healing process in a child-friendly environment. Why is the Children’s Advocacy Center model so important? Read “Robin’s Story.”
