Fairview Family Resource Center provides free community-based programs and services for families, children and adults living in Guilford County.
Supporting Kids and Families
Located inside the Southside Recreation Center, Fairview Family Resource Center provides after school educational support, mentoring and character education, the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, and case management services.
The Triple P Positive Parenting Program is a parenting and family support system designed to instill parents with the confidence to help their children reach their full potential. To sign up or refer a family for the Triple P Program, click here to download the application.

Afterschool drop in access, weekly summer activities, character education, Triple P: Positive Parenting Program, case management services, Wellness Wednesday’s, nutrition and cooking classes, computer lab and safe space.

Volunteerism & Internships:
There are many ways to get involved at the Fairview Family Resource Center (FFRC), from volunteering with after school programs to helping out with community events.

Youth Programs
Volunteer needs include assisting with homework, childcare during afterschool drop in, and assisting in the community garden. Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm-5:30pm.

National Family Week
A community dinner with games and activities held at the FFRC each November. Volunteers are needed to help collect donations, event set-up, distribute meal kits, assist with activities and clean-up. Total event time is 3 hours, 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Prevent Child Abuse Awareness Event
This event, held each April, places an emphasis on helping families enjoy positive family activities. A hot meal and activities for children and parents are provided. Volunteers are needed to help set-up, serve food, manage serving lines, assist with activities, and clean-up.
