Healthy Start
Healthy Start is a home-visiting program that provides
parent education and support for parents with stress
factors that make parenting an even tougher job.
Empowering Strong Families
The Healthy Start program aims to reduce parental stress by providing caregivers with education and support to help with the everyday challenges of being a parent.
Healthy Start works with families to alleviate parental stress, strengthen parenting skills, and foster healthy child development while promoting a positive home environment. Enrolled families will engage in the evidence-based Nurturing Parenting curriculum, designed to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect and build stronger family bonds. Our services are free, voluntary, offered in Spanish, and may include access to interpreting services.
