The 17th Annual Jamestown Pig Pickin’: Boogie Down & Pig Out will be bringing the funk this year. This fall, gather with friends and neighbors to enjoy locally made pulled pork and chicken and dance the night away to live music by The Uptown Party Band- all while supporting our efforts to build safe and healthy families in the Triad.
Since its beginning in 2009, the Jamestown Pig Pickin’ has raised more than $1.6M to support vital programs and services in our community. Individuals and organizations make an impact in the lives of neighbors by sponsoring this signature fall event!
We are excited to welcome back the American Fundraising Foundation this year and their Trips of a Lifetime. Available trip packages will be announced soon. Read testimonials from fellow community members who have experienced a Trip of a Lifetime and supported Family Service in the process.

PIG-toberfest
The 16th Anniversary Jamestown Pig Pickin‘: “PIG-toberfest” was a boar-illiant success raising over $121,000 to further the Family Service of the Piedmont mission. Friends and neighbors gathered to enjoy locally made pulled pork and chicken and dance the night away — all while supporting our efforts to build safe and healthy families in the Triad.
