Counseling Services
Each resident of our shelter is offered the opportunity to meet with a therapist to provide individual counseling or group therapy. Child play-therapy groups and parenting classes are also available.

Court Advocacy
Our staff of victim advocates provide clients with assistance attaining restraining orders (50B’s), going to court and legal referrals.

Case Management
Case managers are available to meet routinely with shelter residents to set goals and meet identified needs. These may include qualifying for food assistance, finding a job, applying for public housing and locating child care.

Continuation of Care
When a client prepares to leave the shelter, staff can help with finding housing, donated furniture, and prepare for life on their own. Once a family leaves the shelter, they are welcome to return to Family Service for continued individual or group counseling.
